Royal Oak Offshore "Volcano"

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore appeared in 1993 as a larger, tougher reinterpretation of the Royal Oak, designed by the young Emmanuel Gueit. With its imposing case, thicker proportions and coarser Mega Tapisserie dial, it deliberately broke with the restrained elegance of the original. Divisive at first, the Offshore grew precisely through its bold character into a cult object and a fixture on the wrists of athletes and stars. Today it stands for haute horlogerie with attitude: powerful, characterful and unmistakably present. The Volcano stands out with fiery orange accents on a dark dial.
